Is it likely that QM will be able to interact with web pages in Chrome any time soon?

It depends on Chrome. Accessible objects are implemented by applications. QM just finds them and tells them what to do.

In firefox can be used accessible objects.

Html elements - only in Internet Explorer and IE-based browsers.
