Closing a toolbar

I have a toolbar that gets created when i have a certain web page open in a FF tab. It creates just fine but I also need it to close when I'm not on that tab so that it's not in the way of all my other pages. I was thinking I'd just have another mac that triggers when the FF tittle bar changes but I've come across two probs.

1. I can't seem to code something that will close a toolbar called "xys Toolbar".
2. I can't figure out how to trigger that macro.

any ideas on how to do this?
