Simple macro question (run macro in inactive window)

Cannot send keys and mouse clicks to inactive windows.
One workaround is to run that application (eg Excel) on a virtual computer, eg vmware player or virtualbox.
With some applications can try other ways - accessible object functions, SendKeysToWindow2.
