It means the file data is corrupt somewhere.
Usually the best way to fix it - replace the file with the newest backup file. You can find backup files in Options -> Files.
Or you can try to repair the file. QM files are SQLite databases. Google for "database disk image is malformed" or 'repair corrupt SQLite database'.
