Quick Macros supports this mode, and it is legal. You can run QM from a removable drive or from another computer without installing. That is, when QM is installed only on the removable drive or another computer. QM only leaves some garbage: My QM folder in My Documents, and registry settings in HKCU\Software\Gindi.
