net command from non QM Code

I want to send commands to QM using the net function from a non QM program.

I assume that the net function is a normal socket thats waiting on a port.

If i try to telnet to the QM port 8177, it immediatly exits.

Its gonig to want the QM password and a command string to evaluate.
