is the ´copy as bbcode' function hardcoded ?

is it possible to store the formating in a global variable instead of using the clipboard ?
that would allow me to add macro/function name and screenshots.

reason for not using clipboard is that i use ditto as clipboard tool and that
there currently is no real way to stop ditto watching for new clip content.
