resize a control

I know this may seem very simple, but I have been having a tough time finding a way to resize an accessible object control.
Is there a way to convert an Elm into a wnd to have to option to resize?
The only available properties of this specific control are role and @id

Resizing an elm - no.
Converting and elm to wnd - no. Can only get the container wnd (WndContainer).

Is the same true for "dock" property of a control? for example, if there is a control that is programed to be docked to the top of a window, it it possible to undock it using LA?

Only if it is possible manually, with mouse or keyboard.
